Main Purpose: Reporting to the Garden Centre Manager, the yardman will be responsible for the general upkeep of the yard including stock, control of all equipment on site, and loading customers.
Key Responsibilities:
– General maintenance & upkeep of yard.
– Maintain stock levels/control of all equipment.
– Loading of (customer and company) Vehicles as per orders
– Controlling stock upon entering/exiting yard
Skills and Competencies Required:
– Excellent communication skills.
– Ability to multi task while adapting to ever changing priorities.
– Full driving license.
– Previous experience in a similar environment.
– Ability to work individually and as part team.
– Kramer & Forklift license preferred but not essential
– Prior experience working in a fast paced/quick turnaround environment
– Open availability.
– Forklift license.
